360 Digital Media Utilizes DynaScan High Brightness LCDs for The Amazing Spider-Man Campaign

To promote the theatrical release of Sony Pictures' blockbuster The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D, digital marketing company 360 Digital Media constructed a larger-than-life web-slinging effigy of the iconic super hero over the Taipei City Hall Bus Station in Taiwan. Selected for its superior brightness levels (2500 nits), fanless design, and round-the-clock operation, two DynaScan 46” high brightness LCDs (DS46LO4) were installed within the platform at the base of the figure and played promotional trailers of the movie day and night.

DynaScan High Brightness LCDs Compared Side-by-Side with Samsung High Bright Monitor

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0DwovgPB7cY Swiss dealer, Inputech AG, has produced a great video depicting how well DynaScan high brightness LCDs perform in direct sunlight.  DynaScan's DS47LT4 (2,500 nits), DS46LO4(3,000 nits) and DS55LT6 (5,000 nits) were compared side by side with a 1,500 nit high bright lcd from Samsung.  The video was taken in late June with the screens facing west toward the afternoon sunlight.  Check out the video for the results.
